Alex "Ultra" Buckner recognized this need and decided to see what he could do to fulfill it.

2005.03.01 Alex "Ultra" Buckner used his years of electronics and business experience to found Ultra Sabers LLC

For over a year, Alex operated his lightsaber business from his shop in Gilbert, Arizona. After a little over a year, his dedication to customer service and a quality product paid off. The business grew to the point where he needed a partner to help him keep up with the growing demand for his Ultra Sabers product as well as work with him to take Ultra Sabers to the next level.

2006.07.04 ? Todd Clay partnered with Alex and Ultra Sabers.

What Alex and I quickly realized is that one of the main reasons people have not been able to get what they're looking for is the fact that no one seems to do this full time. Most people do the saber business as a part time gig. They have eBay auctions and/or electronic stores, but the bottom line is that it's all "virtual".

So the obvious thing that makes Ultra Sabers LLC different than everyone else is that this IS our life. This is what we do for a living. We make custom lightsabers! We have an eBay store, our electronic store and a physical location that customers can visit.

The bottom line to Ultra Sabers is quality of product and customer service. We work hard on keeping our sabers affordable for everyone. For the money, we feel that there is no one out there who can compete with what we offer for what we charge to offer it. We operate 2 online stores, a physical storefront, take time to build sabers and STILL manage to answer almost all of our emails within 24 hours!

Ultra Sabers is a real business with a real physical store located in Arizona. We are not just an eBay company. We're a company who just happens to sell on eBay. There's a huge difference. We have an easy return policy, so if you don't like the saber, you can return it. I wouldn't want you to keep a saber you didn't like.

Quality is paramount when creating a saber intended for swordplay. We use high quality, custom made, CNC machined billet aluminum components in our sabers. We feel that strength in construction of the saber is critical. Before you even consider buying a saber, you should always find out what is being used to house the lighting source and blade.
